There are innumerable tours on offer in this radiant paradise (even sea-fishing!). Try starting with a relaxing walk through Pipa's Ecological Sanctuary with its native bush and jaw-dropping views of Baia dos Golphinos and Praia do Madeiro.
The immense Guaraíras Lagoon (in Tibau do Sul with an amazing sunset and moonrise) is an open invitation for guided eco-trips by boat, by canoe through its mangroves, and under sail around the islands.
Boat tours to see the beaches and dolphins go from Pipa and include an option to spend the whole day onboard, with delicious food and drinks, sailing inland from the Guaraíras Lagoon.
Longer overland tours can be made by 4x4, all-terrain quad or buggy and cover the entire region, its dunes, lakes and deserts.
If motorised tours don't take your fancy one can be more eco-friendly and take the same routes through the forests, dunes and rivers on horseback or using pedal-power. Popular routes from Pipa go to Sibaúma and Barra do Cunhau along the cliff tops and through the forests.
